Aprilia has finally launched their made in India power scooter- SR 150. The Aprilia SR 150 being one of the most awaited launches of the year happened in style. The performance scooter comes shod with industry first 14 inch alloy wheels in its segment, making it very European and classy looking scooter.
The iconic brand Aprilia has commenced the production of new SR 150 in India, the first black colored SR 150 has been rolled out from Piaggio manufacturing unit at Baramati, Maharashtra. Piaggio had showcased the SR 150 scooter earlier this year at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The company has already announced the introductory price of the new SR150 i.e. Rs 65,000 (Ex-showroom).
Team Suzuki Ecstar’s Aleix Espargaro announced that he will be joining the Factory Aprilia team for the 2017 and 2018 seasons as part of a two year deal signed recently. The news came out at the end of the Dutch TT in Assen.
The superbike market in India is being flooded with many new options for buyers and you get superbikes from almost all the categories too are here. So add to that list, Aprilia is planning to get smaller bikes in India and it wants to start with the Shiver 750 ABS. A single unit of this bike has been imported for R&D to India recently which suggests it's launch soon.
