Older Model Description Launched in 2018

Hero MotoCorp launched the Destini 125 recently. Its arrival is met with glaring expectations from Hero. As the company expects to reap a host of profits from it in the coming festive season. The Scooter is the company’s only entry in the 125cc segment thus it is also expected to face a lot of competition.

Engine and Performance:

Hero Destini comes with a 125cc Air cooled Single Cylinder Engine. The Motor produces 8.7 BHP of power @6750 RPM and 10.2 Nm of Torque @5000 RPM. The Hero Destini is down on power but the Torque is good enough. The Engine comes equipped with i3S technology which makes it fuel efficient. It comes with the option of Kick as well as Electric start.

Design:

The Hero Destini features a sporty design from all angles. The Scooter’s front embellishes a Chrome Plate which easily grabs the attention. The rear end features an exquisitely designed Tail-light. The transmission on the scooter is Automatic and it uses a dry clutch. The Mirrors are as same as the body colour and another set of front lights acquire position above the Chrome plate.

Dimensions: The weight of the Hero Destini is 111.5 Kg while its ground clearance is 155 mm. The Wheelbase of the scooter is 1245 mm which will make it easy to ride on the highway.

Chassis:

Hero Destini has a pair of Telescopic front Suspension while a single spring functions at the rear. The Scooter features a 90/100 10 inch tyre both at the front and at the back. Wheels are Cast Alloy in the Top Spec VX model while the standard variant gets steel wheels.

Electrical:

The Scooter features a 12V-4Ah Maintenance free battery which powers the light and the instrument console. The information cluster is part digital and part analogue. It includes a Trip Meter, Odometer, Fuel gauge, Speedometer and a service reminder.

Other features and Price: Hero Destini 125 comes with additional features like a Mobile Charging port, Boot Light, Dual tone Seat covers and as already mentioned, a Service Reminder. However, all of them are only available in the top spec VX variant of Hero Destini.

Hero Destini is available in three colours Chestnut Bronze, Panther Black and Pearl Silver White. The Noble Red is the fourth colour available only for the top spec variant. The LX variant has an ex-showroom price of Rs 54,650 /- while the VX variant is priced at Rs 57, 500 /-.
