The DOCTOR, Valentino Rossi takes home another awesome victory, finishing first at British Grand Prix, Silverstone.
The race started off with all the racers riding to the pit lane at the end of the warm up lane to change their bikes as the weather started to change and it was declared "Wet Race", so it was time for them to change their bikes to the wet set up bikes. The Officials decided to start the race from the pit lane but soon it was stated that the race will be starting from the grid. The race kicked off with Lorenzo taking the lead, but soon he was overtaken by Valentino Rossi and things started getting bad for Lorenzo as he was further pushed backwards.
On the other hand, Marquez was right behind Rossi, waiting for a chance to make a move. It was a very bad day for Team LCR Honda, especially for Cal Crutchlow as he was hit by his team mate Jack Miller, sending both the riders crashing. Crutchlow soon got up to his second bike, but again he had another crash, ending the race for him. Meanwhile the race got very interesting as Lorenzo was overtaken by the two Ducatis, sending Lorenzo further backwards, following him was Dani Pedrosa.
The race took a twist when Marc Marquez had a crash halfway through the race trying to make a move for the first place, thus ending the race for him as well. Danilo Petrucci delivered an incredible ride to secure his first podium finish, giving a very tough fight for Andrea Dovizioso, without letting him overtake. All Hail Lorenzo finished fourth with Dani Pedrosa finishing in fifth place
To sum it up, all in all it was a brilliant wet race and The Doctor again thrived in this and now, he has created a substantial gap between him and Jorge Lorenzo in the world standing.
We feel, the race would had been even more interesting if Marquez and Crutchlow had not crashed. On the other hand, Petrucci fought really hard and he definitely deserves this victory.
