Honda RevFest 2015- An Unforgettable Experience!

Sunday, August'2 2015, a close friend of mine and myself were discussing about the upcoming Honda event in which the most anticipated CBR 650F was to be unveiled to the public. As I was away from the site for almost a month. I decided to call my Boss (Farhan sir) and talk to him, we had a general conversation until;
Me: Bhaiya Revfest ke liye kise bhejrahe he aap? (Whom are you sending to represent us at the Revfest)

Farhan sir: Delhi ke correspondents jaayenge wahaan. (Delhi's correspondents will be representing us there)

Me: Bhaiya me jaaoon unke saath? (May I go there with them)

Farhan sir: Ha, Zaroor! Tickets dekhlena me baaki sab dekhlunga (yeah sure! Get the tickets and I'll take care of the rest).
All I wanted was that "YES" from my boss. Rushed home, bought the ticket for the early morning train, (Premium Tatkal, Jai ho!) and started off to Delhi on Monday.

The journey was tiring, but when I was ushered into the media hall, The tiredness got replaced with Enthusiasm and excitement as this was my first event where I was representing a website at a National level event. I read all the material and press releases they provided us, and then I got the surprise of my life.

The 2013 Honda RC213V, the expression says it all!

A Championship winning 2013 Honda RC213V at the end of the Ramp, unveiled by Muramatsu san (President & CEO, HMSI). The moment I saw the bike, my jaws were literally on the floor! Such was the happiness I felt. I've been a big fan of Honda and have great respect for Shacho san (Soichiro Honda- Founder of the Honda group) and getting the opportunity to see and touch a MotoGP bike is something I've never dreamt of! And coming to the main event, which saw the unveiling of two new bikes and two facelifts, I was perhaps the only one who was jotting down notes while others were busy clicking pictures of the same. The observations included the Tires and suspension of the Hornet 160R and the CBR triplets, the build quality of the 650F and even the saree guard of it (It includes a baby Crutch and a barbecue grille). But My first media event being my favorite brand's event- What more can you ask for!

I'd like to thank Farhan sir for giving me this opportunity, Mohit Bhardwaj for coordinating and guiding me through the city and Special thanks for Geet Singh Bindra for his valuable advises on biking!
