Meet MV Agusta F4Z Designed By ZAGATO

When it comes to automobile design the Italians are by far one of the most talented ones, ZAGATO is not an exception either. Recently the Italian designer has been assigned a job to design a motorcycle for a wealthy businessman from Japan. And the motorbike given to ZAGATO was another Italian masterpiece MV Agusta F4Z. The job was to turn an already beautiful motorbike into more beautiful and radical than before.

The MV F4Z given to the design studio was equipped with MV’s latest 998cc 4-cylinder engine, capable of churning out whopping 198 Horse Power. Zagato was given this assignment as their first ever two-wheeler design, they are known for their classy yet radical car designs. To carry the essence of the MV Agusta, Zagato maintained the signature Red & Silver color theme and concentrated on the design structure of the motorcycle leaving the engine and other mechanical untouched.

The outcome came very special as the design team used aluminum and carbon fiber body parts keeping the elegant lines of the Agusta F4Z intact. To complete the design a brand new fuel tank has been made along with new intake manifolds and exhaust system. The alloy wheels are also changed by the designer and apparently they have used the top of the line wheels from F4RR made from forged aluminum.

The bike has been made in collaboration with MV Agusta and ZAGATO, hence they will be showcasing it in the upcoming “Concours d'Elegance Chantilly Arts & Elegance” which is scheduled for 4th September’16 in France. The world premiere of the motorbike is going to take place prior to formal handover of the bike to its respective owner.
