Though we cannot quite exactly tell you how the bike will look like as it has been heavily camouflaged, it does give us a basic idea of how it will look like. Firstly, it has got a totally different look than that of the previous Apaches. It is a pure naked bike, high raised clip-ons and bikini headlight cover. The bike gets the fuel filler-cap on the top right side of the tank rather than in the middle (BMW influence?). The exhaust gets an unique shape with two outlet nozzles, something that reminds us of the TVS Velocity that was showcased long ago. WE FEEL that the bike has been influenced by both the Draken concept and the TVS Velocity.

The bike now gets a fully digital instrument cluster, instead of the analogue-digital cluster that the previous generation Apaches had. A look at the instrument cluster, we can see that everything is displayed in bold. We can see that the engine revs up to 12000 rpm. Then there is a clock, odometer, horizontal fuel gauge and a gear shift indicator. The console reads "RACE ON".

We are not entirely sure about the specifications, but we do expect it to be an all new engine or a re-bored 180cc engine, only TVS can tell us at the time of their launch. We feel it should produce at least 24 PS of maximum power. We do not know much details, except the video in which they show that the bike was cruising easily at 120kph on some highways (Wow Yeah).

The braking duties on the bike continue to be handled by disc brakes, though there is an absence of ABS ring, which we think is a cost cutting measure, but we do expect TVS to come out with an ABS version later on. It also gets monoshock rear suspension, a first for TVS which is expected to make the already good handling Apaches, even better.
The new Apache is featured with unique design alloy wheels, which we all will get to see on the Honda's upcoming CB Hornet 160 as well. The split seat featured on the new Apache RTR is also talk of the town. The front ergonomically designed slit seat looks a very noble thought by the design team of TVS.
