Stories of those who build, Stories of those race, Stories of those travel, Stories of those who preserve. Change means movement, movement means FRICTION.
This is not just a line. This the philosophy of a documentary series, FRICTION. I came across Friction last week. I watched over and over but still I could not get enough of it. The more and more I watched the more I got addicted to it.
Friction is about motoring scene in India which is shot mainly in the city of Pune. It talks about people who have given their whole lives to car restorations. People who have raced against all the problems in their lives and finished on the pole. People who have dedicated everything they have got to put India’s name on the world map and people who have proved that we are not behind anyone.
The series starts with a family that races together, and stays together, on and off the race track. Then as we move forward we see people caring about cars and bikes their whole life. Defining a very core of why it all started. People who conquer the world with the passion of cycling. It proves that we can make a living out of it, this passion does not have to be just a mere hobby.
One of the best things I like about Friction is bunch of college kids, working day and night. Working with everything they have got, just to show the world that they can do it, to show that Indians are not behind in technology and innovation with the power of ‘Mechatronics’ at IOMTT (Isle of Man TT).
Click on this to view my playlist of the whole Series. Friction succeeds to connect with viewers on a whole new level. Friction is not just another documentary. It is the way of life people chose to live by. REAL STORIES OF REAL PEOPLE. I can’t describe the beautifulness of this in words anymore! A MUST SEE! Keep the awesome work guys, you have managed to inspire a lot of people. Keep on MOVING, keep on creating the FRICTION.
