We've seen many cases of violence against women flying across the interweb, the victims being females of all ages. Some of us feel sad, some of us blame the judiciary and some others blame the other gender for this cause. But, little among us get ready to create awareness about gender equality.Six people from Chennai- Manogaran, Mugil Arasan, Harish, Rohit Karmakar, Zahid Ahmed and KN Akbar, riding four superbikes- a Kawasaki Z1000, a Ninja ZX-14R, an Aprilia Capanord, a Mighty Yamaha V-Max and a Toyota Fortuner as a backup car, set out on a mission to create awareness among people by riding almost 8000 kilometres, spanning across fourteen states.
The Ride kicked off in Chennai's Isphani centre on the 24th of may, the bikers traverse fourteen states in a span of fifteen days. the picture above shows the route they are taking for this great cause. The six riders will be joined by the biker clubs of the cities they visit, visit NGO's related to women empowerment to spread awareness against this issue that is plaguing India in the recent past. We wish the six riders a safe ride, and Kudos for increasing the respect for bikers in the society.
