2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R Launched In India

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) has launched the all new 2017 superbikes- GSX R1000 and GSX R1000R in India. The updated motorcycle, which is touted as “King Of Sportbikes” is featured with all goodies. The all new GSXR series motorcycles are built around brand new compact and narrower chassis making it the lightest and fastest GSX-R ever made.

The all new GSX-R comes in aggressive looks with better aerodynamics and loads of features. The brand new lightweight and smaller in size engine comes equipped with Suzuki’s MotoGP derived ‘Suzuki Racing Variable Valve Timing’ technology. The new GSX-R1000 comes with big Showa front USD fork, Bridgestone Radial Tyres and Brembo Monoblock front Caliper. The new GSX-R1000 is also equipped with 10 Level Motion Track TCS System, ABS with Motion Track Braking System and full LCD meter console. For those who want more, the all new premium model of GSX-R, the R1000R comes featured with additional Launch Control, Quick- Shifter, Showa Balance Free suspension and Lean ABS. On launch occasion, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, SMIPL, said,

After 3 decades and more than 1 million GSX-Rs sold worldwide, Suzuki is proud to launch the 6th Generation GSX-R1000 for its enthusiastic customers in India. This is the most advanced and most exciting Suzuki GSX-R in history and embodies Suzuki’s passion for riding and racing motorcycles. We are sure the discerning riders will appreciate the legacy and enjoy the technology and riding pleasure from this cutting edge motorcycle.

The new GSX-R1000 comes in Metallic Triton Blue and Metallic Mat Black colors and will retail for Rs 1,900,000 (Ex Showroom, Delhi) while the GSX-R1000R will be available in Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black color pallets and will be retailed for Rs 2,200,000 (Ex Showroom, Delhi).
