After weeks of teasing, Suzuki has unveiled the ABS Version of their most successful Gixxer motorcycle. The Gixxer ABS will now be the top end model for the naked Gixxer series and will retail at an Ex-showroom price of Rs 87250.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) a subsidiary of two- wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has introduced 2018 Gixxer and Gixxer SF. Both Gixxer and Gixxer SF come in new livery, the MotoGP inspired Triton Blue colored Gixxer SF comes in signature ECSTAR logo.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL), is going to export their made in India 150cc Gixxer to Japan. The Gixxer is going to be Suzuki’s first ever India-built motorcycle that will be sold in Suzuki Motor Corporation's home market- Japan. The first consignment of made in India Gixxer motorcycles has already been dispatched from our country and left for Japanese shores. The first shipment of Gixxer motorcycles includes 720 units that have already sets sail to Japan.
Suzuki has launched the rear disc brake variants of both Gixxer and Gixxer SF which they had unveiled at Auto Expo 2016. The new variants have been launched at the occasion of ‘Gixxer Day’ organized in the capital city. Suzuki organized the Gixxer Day which according to the company was a gathering of Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF owners to celebrate the spirit of their successful Street Sport Bike.
Suzuki Motorcycles India has unveiled the updated Gixxer SF featured with Fuel Injection system (Fi). The faired Gixxer is now featured with fuel injection for better fuel efficiency and better throttle response. The fuel injected version is limited to Gixxer SF only and is not featured on its naked sibling- Gixxer.
