Today Honda has surprised us all with the showcase of new CB Hornet 160R. The new “CB Hornet 160R” is based on the same platform as of CB Unicorn 160, although the technical details are not shared by the company but the bike most probably will share the same 162.72cc single cylinder long-stroke engine. The engine would be mated to 5-speed manual transmission and capable to produce 14.7 Ps of power at 8000 Rpm and 14.6 Nm of Torque at 6000 Rpm.
Finally, after conducting thorough investigation Bajaj released the official report on the ongoing episode of broken wheels of Pulsar RS/NS200. Before Bajaj came out with their official statement on the issue we conducted our own investigation and based on our findings we rejected the logic of broken alloy wheel caused by hard braking.
Before the company comes out with their version based on the investigation going on, we decided to investigate the matter on our level and what we found is based on the circumstantial evidence and nothing to do with either Bajaj or the subsequent owner of the bikes. Our motive is to bring out the truth irrespective of who's at the receiving end. Representing free and fair journalism is what the most important thing for us.
The bike is expected to gain its design characteristics from the aggressively designed supercharged H2. The current Kawasaki model on sale the ER-6f/ER-6n comes with an inline-2 cylinder motor that churns out 72.1 Ps of max. power at 8500rpm and 64Nm of max. torque at 7000rpm. So we all can expect some more punch in the power delivery from an already capable motor.
