Honda Reveals CB Hornet 160R At Revfest

  • Aug 4, 2015
  • |   Comments
Today Honda has surprised us all with the showcase of new CB Hornet 160R. The new “CB Hornet 160R” is based on the same platform as of CB Unicorn 160, although the technical details are not shared by the company but the bike most probably will share the same 162.72cc single cylinder long-stroke engine. The engine would be mated to 5-speed manual transmission and capable to produce 14.7 Ps of power at 8000 Rpm and 14.6 Nm of Torque at 6000 Rpm.

The styling of the new CB Hornet 160R is inspired by the concept CX-01 which was showcased at the previous Auto Expo. But at the same time the bike also looks as crossover of Honda CB Trigger and CB Unicorn 160. All in all the design of new Hornet is very impressive and it also appears refreshing. The new Hornet might replace the under-performing Honda CB Trigger anytime in future as it is expected from the recently launched Honda Livo to replace the now aging CB Twister.

The CB Hornet 160R would be officially launched somewhere by the end of this year. The stylish CB Hornet 160R is expected to be priced at Rs 72,000 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
