Apollo Launches Alpha H1 Performance Tyre Range

  • Sep 16, 2018
  • |   Comments
A new tyre is in the town, it is known by the name of Apollo Alpha H1. The tyre is a sports performance tyre with a “W” rating. It means that the tyre can take on the speed of 270 km/h without tearing itself apart. What’s interesting to note here is the size of the tyre which the company has chosen. The Apollo Alpha H1 tyres are available in 110/70 and 150/60 size. It is a very popular size among sports bikes, with motorcycles like KTM 200, 390, Apache RR 310 and the BMW G310 R, using the same tyre size. So it is clear that Apollo has targeted a very premium segment of the entry-level market.

Among them, the KTM RC 390 is the fastest one, with a speed of 180 km/h. It can go up to 200 km/h with the limiter removed. Thus the new Apollo Alpha H1 tyre with a speed limit of 270 km/h is a perfect pairing for these bikes. As it provides good performance while also giving the rider an extra headroom for future upgrade.

Unfortunately, if you own a Yamaha R3, then the rear tyre won’t fit on perfectly on your rim because it comes with a 140/60 tyre as stock. Apollo Alpha H1 front tyre comes at a price of Rs 6,499 and the rear one has a price tag of Rs 8,499.
