Bajaj Launches “V” Motorcycle

  • Feb 1, 2016
  • |   Comments
Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL) has launched “V”- a product based on a unique idea. The Bajaj-V is made from the scrap of iconic warship of Indian Navy- INS Vikrant. The new Bajaj-V holds a sentimental value for being made out of the actual metal of INS Vikrant, Bajaj would like to monetize the exclusive and sentimental feel associated with their brand new product.

The new Bajaj-V is equipped with tried and tested 150cc air cooled Dtsi engine which is successfully doing its duty on Pulsar series of motorbikes for quite a sometime. The engine is capable of producing 15 Nm of Torque at 5500 Rpm and mated to a 5-Speed transmission gear. The new Bajaj-V is featured with masculine style lines, the humongous fuel tank reminds of the Classic version of Pulsar and the big round headlight with bikini fairing also adds to the persona of the Valor holds by the legendary INS Vikrant.

The new Bajaj V15 comes with detachable rear seat cowl which gives the bike a look of a classic cafe' racer. The new V-15 is also featured with unique looking instrument console which is equipped with color changing LED lights.

The Bajaj-V will be available in two different colors- Ebony Black and Pearl White and it will be priced between 60K to 70K (Ex-showroom, Delhi) and the exact pricing will be revealed when the bikes are available in the showroom for sale somewhere in the early or mid of the March'16.
