Ducati reveals launch date of 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 in India

Ducati India has confirmed the launch of 2021 Ducati SuperSport 950 on 9th September. Its global debut was done late last year and will now finally be launched here in India. It will be launched with a host of features and upgrades, the fairing has been redesigned and side panels come with the twin air ducts for better heat management and to divert the heat away from the rider.

The new SuperSport 950 takes inspiration from the Panigale V4, the headlights with twin Led setup and LED DRL pattern looks amazing and makes it resemble Panigale V4. The bike has got improved electronics, new SuperSport 950 comes equipped with Bosch's 6-axis inertial platform. It gets Traction Control, Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Quick Shift and Wheelie Control. The bike also gets three riding modes - Touring, Urban and Sport. The bike comes with a new 4.3-inch full-TFT display, where you can control lot of features including switching between riding modes, even TFT display is inspired from Panigale V4.

Ducati SuperSport 950 is powered by a 937 cc Testastretta, 11 degrees, twin-cylinder engine which produces 110 bhp @9000 rpm and 93 Nm of torque, the engine is Euro5/BS6 compliant. The oil bath clutch gets activated by the new hydraulic control with a self-bleeding radial pump equipped with an adjustable lever. The bike comes with twin 320mm discs at the front attached to Brembo M4-32 monobloc radial calipers and rear gets 245mm disc paired to a Brembo twin-pot caliper. Talking about suspension setup, it’s same as before, no changes on that. The standard variant comes with 43 mm Marzocchi USD forks at front with a Sachs monoshock at the rear while the SuperSport 950 S gets 48mm Ohlins USDs at front and an Ohlins monoshock at the rear.

Ducati could price the 2021 SuperSport 950 around Rs 12.5 - 13 lakh Mark (ex-showroom) . It will be available in two variants: Standard and 'S'. The 'S' variant will be equipped with fully adjustable Ohlins suspension.
