Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Launched In India

  • Jul 20, 2017
  • |   Comments
Ducati India has launched ‘Scrambler Desert Sled’, the bike is featured with all new chassis which is focused on ‘soft-off road’ riding experience. Inspired from the off-road motorbikes of the 60’s and 70’s era from the USA, the Scrambler Desert Sled is meant for soft off-road adventure riding.

The new Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is equipped with twin cylinder 803cc oil cooled engine, capable of producing 75 Hp of power at 8250 Rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 5750 Rpm. The bike comes featured with updated Throttle Control for smooth and better power delivery. The frame of the Scrambler Desert Sled is modified along with the suspension to justify its name. High fenders, type-approved headlight mesh guard and engine bash-plate lend to the off-road capability of the Scrambler Desert Sled.

Commenting on the launch event, Sergi Canovas Garriga, Managing Director of Ducati India said,
We’ve introduced for the first time in India, a motorcycle in the ‘easy off-road’ category. Staying true to the Scrambler family and inspiration from the '60s and '70s, California motorcycle scene, the Desert Sled reinforces the pure essence of motorcycling: two wheels, wide handlebars, a straightforward engine and endless fun. The bike is perfect for the city and to get off the tarmac and explore the road less travelled.

The Scrambler style Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled also comes featured with a dedicated accessory and apparel line. The Scrambler Desert Sled is available in two color options ‘Red Dusk’ and ‘White Mirage’ with black frame and spoked wheels with gold rims at INR 9,32,000 & INR 9,45,000 (Ex-showroom) respectively.
