The iconic brand Aprilia has commenced the production of new SR 150 in India, the first black colored SR 150 has been rolled out from Piaggio manufacturing unit at Baramati, Maharashtra. Piaggio had showcased the SR 150 scooter earlier this year at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The company has already announced the introductory price of the new SR150 i.e. Rs 65,000 (Ex-showroom).Booking of the SR 150 has been opened at all the leading Piaggio dealerships across the country and the Motoplex dealerships at Pune, Kochi, Chennai and Hyderabad. The new entrant from the house of Piaggio under the brand Aprilia is expected to be available from the last of this month after its official launch. The pre-booking of the new Aprilia SR 150 can also be done via “Paytm.com”, where one can book it by paying only Rs 2000/-.
There is lots of excitement seen among the youth for this very exclusive product from Aprila. An Aprila product, made in India and that too at such a price point makes it talk of the town. The new SR 150 is featured with 150cc engine of Vespa and it is capable to produce 11.39 Bhp of power and 11.5 Nm of torque.
