The French rider Franck Petricola dies in a crash, happened at the qualifying session of Isle Of Man TT, he was 32 and was from Pont a Mousson, France. Petricola was a regular rider and used to compete in the IRRC Championship. 2013 was his best season where he scored overall 11th position in the Superbike category. Franck was actually about to make his debut at TT last year but was forced to withdraw due to his injuries in the North West 200 meeting just before a month to the event. He had received multiple fractures and head injury in the practicing season last year at North West 200 and he was actually in coma for several days. However, he made full recovery and this year he came back strong with his full fitness, where he finished 21st in the Superbke Race.
The authorities have given the orders for the probe of the accident, the death of the Petricola is the 141st causality of the IOMTT from its inception in 1907. Our condolences to the family and friends of Franck Petricola.
