Hero Dash Caught Testing

  • Jan 1, 2015

It seems like this year is going to be an awesome one for bikers, seriously I mean the first day of the year isn't complete and we have been getting so many bikes being tested. So yeah, expect this year to be one of the best year with so so much new launches, ranging from scooters, commuters to superbikes. Now let's come to the topic, Hero was just caught testing their new 110cc bike that doesn't have a Honda engine in it. Now, it is the Hero Dash which has been caught testing in our country. The Dash was showcased last year along with many other such products and the testing on the streets has begun now. The Dash is targeted at male riders and it will be competing against Honda Activa, Yamaha Alpha, TVS Jupiter and similar. The scooter was showcased last year and going by the looks it looks sharp and sporty. The scooter is powered by a 110cc 4-stroke, air-cooled engine that produces 8.44 Bhp of and 9.4 Nm of torque. From the images, we can see that the scooter uses telescopic forks at the front with alloy wheels and 90/90-12 tyres on both front and the rear and with a 130 mm drum brakes at the front with Hero's integrated braking system. Other accessories for the Dash include an external fuel lid, mobile charging socket, low fuel and side stand indicator that is similar to that of TVS Jupiter's. Pricing wise, the Dash will be priced above Maestro.
