Honda CB125F Launch Hints Towards The Next Generation Stunner

  • Nov 28, 2014
  • |   Comments
Honda has launched some serious market contenders across the world leaving India as thirsty as they could. They are currently making up a plan to launch all those beautiful and demanding motorcycles here in India. They have stopped the production of the Stunner, though no official announcements as of now from HMSI’s side. Honda has launched the new 2015 CB125F in Europe, whose last generation CBF125 was available to we Indians as the Stunner. Yes! This seriously hints towards a new Stunner here in India. The motorcycle looks proportionate to its dimensions and its displacement. The clean and angular side panel and family inherited headlamps from the elder sibling CB300F and CB500F makes to a bolder looks and presence. CB125F now gets 17-inch alloys while the last generation had 18 inches wheels. It now gets a new all-steel frame with some serious work done over it. The rake angle is increased with a little decrease in the seat height. Bike now gets the two-piston calipers front 240mm disc brakes while rear sporting a 130mm drum. The engine also gets though a detuning process. There’s 6% drop in power co-operating with a 9% drop in torque figures. Honda is claiming a fuel efficiency of 51kms/l with fuel injected 125cc pgm-fi engine, comprising a range of 666kms on a single tank of fuel.

What we need to see is whether Honda brings in this model to take hold of the market share of Stunner in India or not.
