Honda XL750 Transalp launched in India

  • |   Comments
Surprising everybody Honda has launched the ADV (Adventure) touring bike XL750 Transalp in India. The new entrant in the most promising segment is the smaller version of the Honda Africa Twin. Honda has launched a surprise package comprising only 100 units for sale in its first batch.

Honda has taken the design cues for the new XL750 from its elder sibling- the Africa Twin. The bike is featured with a sharp design philosophy that comprises a semi-fairing and a tall windscreen. The new Transalp also comes featured with a host of modern features like a 5-inch TFT display screen, full-LED lighting, smartphone connectivity, voice-assisted features, emergency stop signal, traction control, ride-by-wire a slipper clutch, etc.

The all-new Honda XL750 Transalp is powered by a 755cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that churns out 90bhp of power and 75Nm of torque and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission gearbox. The bike is suspended by Showa USD front forks and a Pro-Link monoshock at rear. The braking duty is been given to dual discs at the front and a single disc at the back.

Honda has launched the new XL750 Transalp at an introductory price tag of Rs. 11 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). The bike will be available in two colors- Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black. Bookings for the bike is already open at all Honda BigWing dealerships across India and deliveries are expected to begin from next month.
