India Kawasaki Motors has made the delivery of 13 motorcycles to their respective owners; these were the customers being cheated by the previous Kawasaki dealer “SNK Palm Beach”, Navi Mumbai. The customers had already made full payment to the erstwhile dealer of Kawasaki in Navi Mumbai- SNK and have been waiting for more than six months for their bikes. The SNK happened to be the Principal Dealer of Kawasaki for Mumbai; it got subsequently terminated by the company in account of their failure to deliver commitments towards its customers.On the occasion Tarun Khanna, Senior Manager, IKM commented,
We are happy to finally have a closure to this by receiving the necessary approvals to deliver our motorcycles to our inconvenienced customers who have been patient with us.
IKM has had numerous meetings with SNK Palm Beach to rectify the problem; however, despite repeated promises and assurances, SNK has failed to honour its commitments. He further added,
The delivery of motorcycles or refunding payments’ to the customers’ is solely the responsibility of SNK, IKM took it upon itself, as a gesture of goodwill, to deliver the motorcycles through its dealer network. IKM is committed to its customers and is dedicated to develop its business and investments in India.
