KTM 250 Adventure Launched In India

KTM India has launched the quarter liter ADV- 250 Adventure. With the launch of new 250 Adventure the company has updated its portfolio. The quarter litre adventure touring bike from the Austrian company has been launched at Rs 2,48,256 (Ex- showroom, Delhi). The bookings for the new ADV bike have commenced at KTM showrooms across India.

The all new KTM 250 Adventure comes equipped with a BS6 compliant 248cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The fuel injected engine produces 29.5bhp of power and 24Nm of peak torque. The liquid cooled motor is linked to a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox that gets advantage from a Slipper and an Assist Clutch. The new 250 Adventure comes devoid of Quickshifter as opposite to its elder sibling the KTM 390 Adventure.

The new KTM 250 Adventure is featured with WP APEX suspension upfront. The rear monoshock has a 177mm travel range with adjustable preload, while the WP APEX USD 43 mm front fork boasts 170mm of travel. The motorcycle is slapped with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cast wheels that are wrapped in tubeless tyre.

The braking duty is given to a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc brake.To ensure the safety on road the bike includes dual-channel ABS system by Bosch. The ABS technology at the new 250 Adventure features an additional off-road mode that actually disengages the ABS on the rear wheel.

The KTM 250 Adventure will also get additional Power Parts on extra premium by the company. The list includes GPS Brackets, Headlamp protection, Radiator protection grill, Handlebar pads and Crash bungs.
