Latest Images Revealing Details Of Mahindra Mojo

  • Jan 5, 2015
  • |   Comments
There is no point discussing launch date of Mahindra Mojo amidst its everlasting and ongoing tests conducted by Mahindra. But the latest images of Mojo revealed on World wide web is believed to be taken while testing in Pune. The images are real crisp and exposed several salient features of the bike with never before clarity.

Styling:

The bike looks pretty big for a 300cc machine, from the front facia the big dual headlamp assembly looks oversized and menacing. The bike also looks production ready as the stickering is been done all over, though the simple and plain sticker and logo should have been replaced by the 3D emblem considering the premiumness of the product. The golden color appears prominent on the tradmark Ribs, USD front fork and swingarm. Instrument Cluster & Switchgears:

The instrument console is a combination of digital and analog meters, the big analog Tachometer comes in blue tint whereas the digital meter is small and rectangular in shape. The overall design of meter console lacks finish and the additional faux louvers looks after thought.

The Switchgears appear to be of good quality, engine kill switch is prominently placed at the right hand side. The key switch is placed little awkwardly between fuel tank and the front fork- T. The clutch lever and the front brake lever comes with brushed aluminum finish. Ergonomics:

The straight and high raised single piece handle bar along with little forward set footpegs give straight sitting posture to the rider. The single piece dual tone seat looks ensamble with overall persona of the bike. However it appears that the space for the pillion is considerably less than the rider's.

The stopping duty is given to big petal disc brake up front and the conventional disc setup at rear of the bike. What's not cool is the exhaust pipe coming from the cylinder head directly at 90 degree and then split into 2 but perhaps what looks so out of place will be hidden under belly pan which is missing in this bike. Engine:

The Mahindra Mojo is expected to get power by a 295cc, 4 stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. It is also expected that the bike will get Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) valve train and will be capable of producing 27 bhp of power and 25Nm of torque. The single cylinder engine will be mated to 6- speed manual transmission.

However, we can comment on the performance of the Mojo only after we test ride the bike once it is launched. Stay tuned till this happen and for the while share your thoughts on the revealed features of Mojo.
