Mahindra Launches GUSTO Scooter

Mahindra Two Wheelers have launched 110cc autogear scooter "Gusto". The Gusto has been named after the Gust of wind with Mahindra trademark "O" added as suffix. Mahindra introduced The new scooter at the ongoing festive season in anticipation to increase its market share. The new Gusto has the Italian design elements and the 110cc M-TEC engine is been indigenously designed and developed by Mahindra engineers.

The patented M-TEC engine is light weight made up of all aluminum and featured a strong crankshaft and bearings, it has also a high inertia magnet with a high energy ignition coil and an efficient series regulator to produce 8.0 Ps of power at 7500 RPM and 8.5 Nm of Torque at 5000 RPM. The Gusto is pretty fast and peppy as it is claimed 0-60 kmph comes up in 10.3 sec and it is also claimed to be frugal, returning 63 Kmpl fuel economy as per ARAI. The Gusto is a feature rich scooter and it has probably many features which are not only first in class but first in industry also.

The new GUSTO comes in two variants Gusto DX and Gusto VX, the Gusto DX comes as base model and available at Rs 43000 (Ex showroom, Delhi), whereas the Gusto VX is the premium variant comes with features like Remote flip-able key and height adjustable seat, it is available at Rs 47000 (Ex showroom, Delhi).
