The German tyre brand- METZELER is going to bring a brand new product especially designed for off-road. The new off road specific tyre is been christened as- MC360. The tyre is in its last development stage and that it is going to be introduced in European market later next month. The last dynamic tests of the new MC 360 tyres are in progress and the company is conducting the test in the challenging terrains of Nevado Ojos del Salado, the highest volcano in the world (located between Argentina and Chile).METZELER have won 29 titles in the FIM Enduro World Championship and 8 consecutive titles in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. The leading motorcycle tyre brand of the world is taking their craftsmanship to a whole new level; the new MC 360 is designed to be used in various off road disciplines- Motocross, Supercross, Cross country and Free style. The new MC 360 will come in two specifications, Mid-Soft and Mid-Hard, each to ensure consistent and long life performance.
The METZELER MC 360 will come in various sizes and all sizes of the new product will be reversible, which means the tyre can be used in both directions of the rotation. This will enable the rider to flip the direction of the tyre once the knobs of the tyres worn out, this feature simply gives double tyre life to the rider.
The METZELER MC 360 have been homologated for road use, hence they can legally be used on road along with the superb off road capability. It is not known whether the company has any plans to bring MC 360 in pan Asian market or not, but these kinds of tyres are need of the time here in our country especially when touring and off roading trend is blossoming in India.
