The renowned German tyre maker Metzeler has launched one of its own kind of "Offroad Park" at Pietramurata, Italy. The Metzeler Offroad Park is built on nearly 6 kms of landscape. It is developed with technical sections, wooden logs and also a part of the park is inside the natural forest to make the entire track as natural as possible.Metzeler has initiated this concept to strengthen its image among the enduro and adventure seeking pro riders as well as for the rookies in this sport. The same kind of concept needs to be established in India where all kinds of motor-sports are flourishing at an unprecedented pace.
Motorcycle brands like KTM, Triumph and our very own Royal Enfield has various products on offer internationally to satisfy the adventure sport purists. Out of those products, company like Triumph Motorcycles has brought almost every of them to India and we can expect KTM also to bring their entry level enduro motorbikes to India sooner than later.
Royal Enfield has already launched their first adventure motorcycle- Himalayan in India and we can also expect many such products from the RE's stable as well as from other manufactures in the same category in near future. Venture like "Metzeler Offroad Park" in India will certainly help the offroad enthusiasts of our country and the adventure seeking riders to learn how to tackle the rough terrain before hand.
