It was double delight for Repsol Honda, as Dani Pedrosa too secured a front row start from second place. His 1:32.055 was the only laptime that was close to Marc Marquez's scorching pole lap. His Laptime is just 0.171 seconds above the pole lap.

The row 2 begins with the CWM LCR Honda of Cal Crutchlow, in His best Qualifying session of the season. He's Joined by Bradley Smith (Monster Yamaha Tech3) who qualified in sixth.
Perhaps the Surprise package of the weekend is - Danilo Petrucci. The Octo Pramac Racing rider will start from the middle of the second row in fifth. He out qualified both of the Factory Ducati riders who ride the superior Desmosedici GP15, while on Last year's GP14.2.

Valentino Rossi struggled all weekend, as he couldn't have enough front end feel and confidence to push to the limits. The 36 year old, 9 times world champion and the championship leader will start today's race from eighth place of the grid.
Mixed Reactions for the Factory Ducati team, as Andrea Dovizioso had to battle out in Qualifying 1 after a disastrous Free practice 3 session, which forced to use an extra soft tire from his allocation. Whereas Andrea Iannone had a decent run, qualifying in 7th place ahead of Valentino Rossi.
