The third place went to Max Nagl who did a great comeback. The fourth place overall by Glenn Coldenhoff has capped a very good day for Pirelli. It was a Bad day for Romain Febvre as he crashed immediately after the race starts, he suffered a deep cut at the elbow which eventually did not allow him to continue the race and he had to retire.

The Elite class race that closed the day in Lamezia also went exciting and it was won by Jeremy Van Horebeek, who has taken the lead at the start and has been able to counter the attacks of his opponents until the end of the race. Max Nagl also had a great race and he finished in third place.
Jeffrey Herlings riding his small 250cc bike was phenomenal and performed brilliantly at Hawkstone Park. Herlings was unable to take part in Lamezia Terme due to his preoccupation in an international race event in England. The race at Hawkstone Park is considered as fantastic comeback of a charismatic rider as he finished the what is called as Superfinal beating all of his opponents.
The Dutch rider, was riding on his SCORPION™ MX32™ front and SCORPION™ 410 rear and helped Pirelli to virtually monopolized the podium of the Superfinal in England with Shaun Simpson, second, and Kevin Strijbos at third place.
