Here is the first look of the 2016 Honda CBR500R. As per Honda the bike now gets a refreshed body design which makes it sharper and edgier. The Honda CBR500R seems to be inspired by the CBR600RR and CBR1000RR.

Coming to the bike's mechanics, the bike now gets an adjustable pre-load front suspension, larger fuel tank with a hinged cap for added convenience. The bike now gets a shorter exhaust that has its internal structured tuned in for better mass centralization and also sounds better and not to forget, a new ignition key too. Also, the 2016 CBR500R comes with an improved gear-shift feel along with an adjustable brake lever. The engine though remains the same, a 471cc twin cylinder engine delivering 47bhp that delivers a smooth performance.
With all these upgrades, the 2016 Honda CBR500R is designed to deliver maximum performance, styling and presence that one can expect from a genuine A2 licence-complaint motorcycle.
The bike has not been scheduled to launch in India as of yet but we seriously hope HMSI bring this here at the earliest possible time.
