Scoop: Hero To Launch HX250R In November

  • Sep 24, 2014
  • |   Comments
The festive season will be ending soon, because manufacturers like Honda and Hero have planned their launches in November though dates are not fixed, Hero is all set to launch its flagship HX250R in November. As we are now talking about only the quarter litre segment, we need to exclude Honda as we exactly don’t know when will Honda launch the CBR300 but on the other hand it also expected to bring its 160cc Motorcycle in the same month. This November riders are expected to get their hands over the Hero HX250R.

Hero HX250R is the upcoming flagship from the house of Hero. Yeah, we know Hero has parted ways with Honda, so how could this be a good bike? But, all you need to remember is that Hero has joined hands with the father of performance, The ERIK BUELL. Powered by a single cylinder quarter litre engine producing 31 Bhp of power and 26 Nm of torque, the bike is expected to hit 100 kmph in or under 8 seconds with a top whack of 160 Kmph. The motorcycle just weighs 139 kg. The bike sports steel trellis frame with a swing-arm constructed with tubular frame. Hero will also be providing the optional ABS with front and rear standard disc brakes. Motorcycle will come with full fairing, clip-on handlebars thus resulting into a supersport styling and ergonomics. The styling cues are basically taken from the Honda CBR600. The under-seat exhaust, front fairing and the headlamp design all reminding you of the CBR600RR. The Hero HX250R will be pitted directly against Honda CBR250R and KTM RC200 as it is expected to be priced between Rs 1.5- 1.6 Lacs (Ex showroom, Delhi).

So if you are keen on riding this beauty home, then start saving money now.
