  • [Spied] TVS Velocity- The New RTR?

[Spied] TVS Velocity- The New RTR?

The latest picture of a TVS(is it another TVS-BMW?) bike being tested on the streets is floating on the net. This is not the first time people have seen this bike being tested, as there are claims of some people saying that they have seen this bike earlier but couldn't get any picture. We got some very valuable information from one of our avid reader and motorcycle enthusiast, Anirudh Pv who first saw the bike very closely. This is how he related about the bike. Firstly, the bike looked tiny, a slim tank with extended scoops. The headlight was similar to that of a Gixxer. The bike had a single piece handlebar and an unique looking exhaust. The bike had a radiator, yes liquid cooling. The bike had an unique exhaust note and "The bike was a SCREAMER" is how he describes. If you are wondering what this actually is, a 200cc or a 180cc? Read on. Firstly, TVS had made a statement earlier that it is developing an updated RTR180 which will be launched alongside a bigger Apache. This looks more like it, considering the bike is too small to be a 200cc and also as our reader described that the bike was a screamer and appeared stressed out, but nothing irritating. So going by that, we can say that this might be the updated RTR180 and not the 200cc. If you go back in time, you might remember TVS showcasing their bike, TVS Velocity which unfortunately did not make into production. So comparing both, we can be sure that this looks very much like the TVS Velocity. The exhaust, the rear end, the headlights and almost everything looks similar to the test mule. So now we are left with one thing in our minds, is the TVS Velocity, the new RTR? Tell us what you think in the comments below. Picture Source: Team-Bhp
