The First Bikerhood “Ride For Heroes” Scheduled For 6th Sep’15

As a pioneering effort the, Bikerhood group is going to organize a nationwide event, which will not only bring all the biker community of the country together but they would also ride for a cause. The first ever event in this slew is scheduled for the coming Sunday i.e. 6th Sep’15. There will be bikers coming from all around the corners of the country to participate in the ride. The one of its own kind of a ride will be held for a cause and it is for the true Heroes of our nation- Our Soldiers. The brave soldiers of our country, those who have given the ultimate sacrifice or those who are still guarding our borders so that we can live and ride peacefully will be remembered and honored that day. Gen P.M.Mohandas (the youngest officer to be commissioned into the the Indian Army post independence) and Maj Madhukar Katragadda (the man that has vowed to embark on a 4000+ km rally on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle in order to promote social change & equality) will be present there to lead the ride. The “Ride For Heroes” will commence from the Inorbit, Malad, Mumbai at 08.00 AM on Sunday and the ride will continue around Malad in Mumbai city. Through the ride there would be an attempt made to generate awareness for OROP & war veterans among the society. Followed by the Ride there will be First “Bikerhood” meet, where there would be Admins/Presidents of different biking groups across the region will come forth to sign the Declaration: a pledge to do better for our nation and planet, i.e. through rides for social awareness, planting more saplings, protecting fellow living beings against cruelty and abuse, etc. There would be many such rides taken place in different cities across the country under the banner of “Bikerhood” followed by the Bikerhood meet. There are routes already finalized in hope to cover Mumbai, Delhi, Vadodara, Bengaluru, Cochin, Chennai, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Assam and finally Pune. The dates for the respective rides in these cities will be announced soon after the completion of the Mumbai ride on the 6th.
