TVS Motor company has introduced "Slipper Clutch" to their flagship motorcycle- Apache RR 310. The otherwise complete motorbike was always devoid of Slipper Clutch since its launch. TVS has now come up the Slipper Clutch variant of the bike with new colour scheme- Phantom Black.TVS Motor company has called the new Slipper Clutch as "Race Tuned Slipper Clutch" and it has been claimed by the company as best tuned for racing experience. The new Slipper Clutch assembly can also be retrofitted to the existing Apache RR310 at very nominal price point as claimed by the company. The retrofitting job can be done at the select TVS Apache RR310 showrooms across India. The new Clutch assembly is also assisted by tighter Clutch plates resulting into better clutch performance and ease of use.
Commenting on the launch, K N Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company says,

We also want to expand this experience to our existing TVS Apache RR 310 customers, who will appreciate the enhanced racing dynamics. The new styling upgrades accentuate the racing stance of the motorcycle and create customer delight.
The upgraded Apache RR310 is available in two colour options- Phantom Black and Racing Red. The bike has been priced at Rs. 2.27 Lacs (Ex- Showroom, Delhi).
