TVS NTorq 125 Launched At Rs 58.7K

One by one TVS is dropping bombs in each segment of two-wheeler market. They shook up the market earlier with their Flagship motorcycle TVS Apache RR 310S a while back and now they seem to have done it again with the launch of their new Flagship scooter, The TVS NTorq 125.

The newly launched piece of machinery from TVS boasts some pretty solid tech and mechanical features. In the Engine department, it is equipped with a 125cc motor which churns out 9.2 BHP of power. The company also claims that the scooter can achieve 0-60 km/h in 9 seconds. The engine is a 3 Valve CVTi unit which is carburated for precise throttle response. This new Engine has been developed in accordance with the TVS racing team to ensure its lineage in the Racing bloodline of the company.

Coming to the technology which the scooter has on offer, it sports features like Bluetooth connectivity, GPS console, and TVS Smart connect. The scooter also boasts features like 12-inch alloy wheels, Petal disc brakes, and LED lights all around it. At the front, we have the telescopic forks and at the rear, a monoshock suspension is present to provide good handling characteristics.

This scooter will rival the likes of Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125 and Honda Grazia. Though the scooter is pretty far in terms of mechanical and technical upgrades than all of the above-mentioned scooters, still it’d be interesting to see how this scooter performs in the market and in real-world conditions as well.

The scooter is available in 4 shades including Yellow, Red, Green and White. Just like the RTR 200, all these shades come in Matte colour. The scooter is launched at an Ex showroom price of Rs 58,750.
