TVS Racing has undergone collaboration with country’s only racing academy for women- Alisha Abdullah Racing Academy. TVS Racing will support the one of its kind racing academy established by known female racer- Alisha Abdullah. The racing academy situates in Chennai and TVS Racing will support it with the racing motorcycles and technical expertise. The racing academy has shortlisted 18 women riders who will race for the TVS Racing Team for their first year. All the 18 women riders have been selected out of 80 entries across the country, they all being trained to achieve best of physical fitness and racing skills. Since the Alisha Abdullah Racing Academy is based in Chennai the racers will be trained on the hired racing tracks as per training requirements.
Alisha Abdullah, founder of the Alisha Abdullah Racing Academy for Women said,
We are proud to be associated with TVS Racing as it is India’s most professional two-wheeler racing team with the best motorbikes and trainers. This association will help the academy develop the best talent among women racers as they get exclusive access to best in class machines, racers and technology. I also hope our racing academy attracts and encourages more women racers to get into motorsports in India.
