India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has inaugurated new spare parts center in Tamilnadu, the new center is situated within the facility of Yamaha in Chennai. Yamaha has opened the new establishment in 30,000 sq mts area. The new facility will be targeting the south Indian market for the in-time supply of the spare parts, IYM has invested total amount of Rs 580 Million establishing the new center.On the occasion, Hiroaki Fujita, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group Companies (YMI-G) said:
In the present industry scenario, customer satisfaction is the key to sustenance & growth. Timely supply of genuine spare parts to the customers is the key to success. Our main objective behind the establishment of the new Parts Centre is to cater to the demands of the consumers in South India with Speed, and Quality.
At the moment Yamaha has 20 spare parts distributors across the country and they are spread in 15 different states. Yamaha also has more than 3,000 spare parts retailers across the nation for supply of genuine spare parts to the dealers and customers. With the launch of new facility the company will now maintain the optimum spare parts inventory at their Surajpur and the new Chennai centre to ensure proper supply in North and South markets. Company believes that this way they will be able to cater the increasing demands across the country in quickest possible time.
