Triumph Launches Bonneville Speedmaster In India
The British iconic motorcycle company Triumph Motorcycles has launched the all new 2018 Bonneville Speedmaster in our country. The classic cruiser comes with authentic British custom attitude. Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced this motorcycle to gain momentum in their market share from Indian motorcycle industry. The new Bonneville Speedmaster is claimed to be a fun and contemporary Bonneville motorcycle in its classic cruiser silhouette.

Hero Electric, the country’s largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer, unveiled as many as four of its global products in India, at Auto Expo 2018. The company plans to launch these products in a phased manner. The company also launched ‘10 Years Ahead’ campaign to mark 10 years of manufacturing electric two wheelers. Over the past decade, Hero Electric has launched 15 electric two wheelers in India. With 65% share of the country’s electric two wheeler market, Hero Electric leads India’s electric mobility revolution.
The classic American motorcycle marquee- Cleveland CycleWerks has stepped into Indian automobile market. Today at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018 the Ohio, USA based company has unveiled two motorcycles from their stable for Indian market. The retro-inspired motorcycles – ‘Ace’ and ‘Misfit’, the two models from the existing range of Cleveland CycleWerks motorcycles have been showcased.
UM Motorcycles has launched two new motorcycles at the Auto Expo- Renegade Duty S and Duty Ace. Both Duty S and Duty Ace come equipped with 223cc single cylinder oil cooled engine. The mill is mated to 6- speed gearbox and produces 17 Ps of power at 8000 Rpm and 17 Nm of torque at 5000 Rpm.
UM Motorcycles has unveiled world’s first electric cruiser at the ongoing Auto Expo- Renegade Thor. The UM Renegade Thor is also world’s first ‘Geared’ electric cruiser showcased for the first time on Indian soil. The Renegade Thor is equipped with electric asynchronous induction motor producing impressive 30KW of power output and 70 Nm of torque. The electric motor is mated to 5- speed transmission gearbox and comes with hydraulic Clutch. The motor is liquid cooled and comes with a controller for better heat dissipation.
Okinawa Autotech has showcased a prototype electric motorcycle code named- OKI 100. The OKI 100 is featured with a Lithium-Ion 72V 63Ah battery with the maximum speed of 100 km/h. For mass centralization the motorcycle has a central motor, the bike is equipped with 2500W power of motor which is Belt driven for silent performance. The OKI100 is capable of running a distance of 150 km on a single charge of 2 hours. The bike’s looks have been copied from the Ducati Monster, it in fact looks like replica of Ducati Monster 796.
The Italian motorcycle brand Aprilia has showcased two very exciting products at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018- Aprilia RS 150 and Aprilia Tuono 150. Both the bikes are showcased for the first time at any platform, though Aprilia has similar kind of offerings in 125cc class restricted to international markets only. Company has put these beauties for display to gather feedback from the masses. Based on these reactions Aprilia will decide when to bring these motorcycles to Indian roads.
Hero MotoCorp has showcased the updated versions of their established brands- Maestro Edge and Duet. Hero has not only plonked brand new 125cc engine on both the scooters but also bring quite a few design changes to the scooters, especially if we talk about the Duet.
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled country’s first 200cc Adventure motorcycle at the Auto Expo- XPulse. The XPulse was first showcased as a concept at the 2017 EICMA Auto Show, Italy earlier last year. Catering to the booming Adventure touring segment of the country Hero has introduced this proper Adventure motorbike.
