Jorge Lorenzo has decided to leave Movistar Yamaha and join the Factory Ducati Team for the 2017 and 2018 MotoGP season. The Spaniard has agreed to sign the agreement with the Italian automaker for the upcoming two seasons of MotoGP.
Suzuki has launched the rear disc brake variants of both Gixxer and Gixxer SF which they had unveiled at Auto Expo 2016. The former Asia Dream Cup graduate Sarath Kumar is all set to take on a new chapter in his racing career. He is going to make his SuperSports 600cc debut at Round 2 of the 2016 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. The race event is scheduled to be held at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand on May 7-8, 2016.
The Kawasaki ZX-10R number 11 ridden by Grégory Leblanc, Fabien Foret and Mathieu Lagrive has won the first round of the prestigious 24 hours endurance Le Mans race. The team Kawasaki SRC has made 28 pit stops doing 819 laps in 24 hours. They have won the race with 9 laps ahead of the second classified team participated in the Le Mans Endurance World Championship 2016.
