Ducati Delivers First 1299 Superleggera In India
Ducati Motorcycles India has delivered their first 1299 Superleggera in New Delhi. The Ducati 1299 Supperleggera is known for its cutting edge technology and radical Italian engineering. The very first Ducati 1299 Superleggera has been handed over to motorcycle aficionado Vikram Oberoi. Vikram is a regular rider at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) and he is a proud owner of Ducati 1299 Panigale S, a Ducati 916 and the Ducati 1098.
Stefan Pierer, CEO of KTM AG and Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto Ltd., decided to take Husqvarna Motorcycles brand global and scale up the business multiple times. The first model Vitpilen 401, Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 701 will be produced in Mattighofen, Austria, and launched in early 2018. Later in 2018, the Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 production for the global markets will be transferred to Bajaj's Chakan factory.
Nidhi Shukla from Team CEAT a consistent winner for the last 2 years, scored a hat trick by winning the title of Best Lady driver in the 28th Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally held in Belapur in Navi Mumbai. She participated in the rally on her Honda Activa which was fitted CEAT Grippy Tyres that enabled her to complete the course in the stipulated time.
Bajaj Auto Ltd. (BAL) has launched the 160cc Naked Sportsbike ‘Pulsar NS160’. The new Pulsar NS160 is strip-down version of the famous Pulsar NS200. The bike looks exactly similar to its elder sibling except few changes. The Pulsar NS 160 comes equipped with 160cc Oil cooled, DTSi engine with 4- valve setup.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) has launched another unique product like its NAVI. As a surprise launch the Japanese automaker has introduced another scooter based on the same 110cc Activa and NAVi platform- Cliq. The Honda Cliq looks distinct and majority of the underpinnings have been shared with NAVi. Honda has developed and manufactured the new scooter at its Tapukara plant, the new product is again targeted towards youth.
DSK Benelli India has announced the commencement of advance booking for their only fully faired sub-500cc motorcycle-Benelli 302R in India. Carrying the pedigree of the Tornado series of Benelli motorbikes the ‘302R’ is a good looking quarter liter motorcycle comes featured with full fairing. The Benelli 302 R is going to be officially launched in India next month, the company has opened advance booking at all DSK Benelli showrooms across the country.
The famous Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally is scheduled for 2nd July. The 28th edition of the popular motoring event organized by Sportscraft in collaboration with Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd is all set to begin at Navi Mumbai on July 2. There are 25 entries already confirmed for the offroad endurance rally, among them many former champions are there including current champion ‘Syed Asif Ali’ from Bhopal.

Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the updated 2017 Street Triple S 765. Today at an event organized in New Delhi the British iconic motorcycle company has introduced the new Street Triple S from their Street Triple range of motorcycles. The updated Street Triple 765 range is already available on sale in the exotic market; the company has now introduced their new product to the Indian market.
Triumph Motorcycles India is going to bring out the much awaited 2017 Street Triple 765, the India launch is scheduled for June 12. The all new Street Triple shares its design cues from elder sibling- Speed Triple (sold in international market). The updated Triumph Street Triple is equipped with bigger 765cc engine as compared to the existing Street Triple’s 675cc mill.
