You read it first at BikesIndia, amidst the official launch of Bajaj Discover 150S and 150F, Bajaj has made the bikes available at the selected showrooms and the launch is scheduled 0n 11th of this month but there is no official word from Bajaj regarding the pricing and the Technical Specifications of the bikes. One of BikesIndia's reliable source has made available the Detailed Technical Specifications of the new Bajaj Discover 150S. The 144.8cc dtsi engine churns out 14.5 Ps at 8500 Rpm with healthy Torque figure of 12.75 Nm at 6500 Rpm with Top speed of 110 Kmph.
However the exact pricing of both the bikes and the Technical specifications of the Discover 150F are still not known, but we can say that as far as the power and torque figures are concerned both the bikes must share the same specs but the Dimensions and the kerb weight of both bikes must be different.
One thing is clear, the claimed Power figure of 14.5 Ps @ 8500 Rpm for new Discover 150 duos are mind boggling for a bike with kerb weight of just 130Kgs. This figure is better then the Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG4 as far as weight to power ratio is concerned. We are as eager as you folks are to test ride the bike and find out how does the new Discover 150S and 150F feels. It would be very interesting to pitch the Discover 150F against the newly launched Yamaha FZ-S Version 2.
