  • Scoop: Bajaj Dealership Gets The Discover 150F

Scoop: Bajaj Dealership Gets The Discover 150F

As we mentioned in our earlier post that Bajaj is keen on bringing in a faired version of Discover to the potent premium commuter segment to mark its share in the market. Its me, you and everyone knows that this is the festive season and their would actually be many launches waiting ahead for the customers. So Bajaj has started dispatching the lot of the new Discover 150F motorcycles to its dealers. The bike sports a newly developed 150cc carbureted mill from the Discover 150S with the twin sparks and 4-valve setup and VOIDING this time its patent triple sparks setup. It will deliver a better performance than the current Discovers while a better fuel efficiency in comparison to other 150cc’s in the market is expected. Bajaj is the leader in the motorcycle market in India!!! And they know how to do marketing of their products better than any other manufacturer. Yes! You got it right, it’s a part of their marketing strategy, they know that Indian loves fairing on their bikes. Be it, a quarter fairing or the full. That's why they have played a gamble by putting semi-fairing for the first time in its commuter bike. However this fairing does not gel well with the remaining body parts as of the Pulsar 220, but adds a whole lot of new and bigger dimension to the motorcycle. The body graphics are seriously discover and aged, you won’t love them, unless you are "24 or a scholar". The bike gets visual treats too, like the black spoke alloy wheels and swingarm, with the Monoshock suspension at the rear. The ergonomics are typically commuter, with the raised handle-bars and front-set foot pegs. The new Discover 150F gets the front petal disc brakes from those of Discover 125ST with the cover over the disc. We would have loved the bike if, it had the same seat as that of the Discover 125 ST, the seat is plain and makes the bike look longer than it is, while the one in Discover 125ST is stepped one and short.

The price and the Technical Specifications of the new Bajaj Discover 150F is not been disclosed yet, stay tuned to get the more details on this.
