Harley Davidson Introduces New Street Rod 750

  • |   Comments
The Milwaukee, USA based legendary motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson has introduced another custom model in their 2017 lineup for the exotic market- Street Rod. The new addition is based on the existing Street 750 which happens to be not only designed & developed in India but also manufactured in our own country. The new HD Street Rod 750 is inspired by the iconic “V-Rod” model from the house of Harley Davidson. The bike has received loads of updates, this includes a differently tuned engine which according to company is now capable to produce as much as 20% power and 10% more torque output. The new Street Rod is equipped with brand new 750cc V-twin engine with new valvetrain (4-Valve per cylinder), high lift cams, larger air box, bigger exhaust canister and all you can imagine to augment the performance of a motorcycle. Apart from the hardcore alterations in the heart of the motorbike HD has also introduced new chassis geometry by featuring 17 inch wheels at both the ends. The more aggressive geometry of the new Street Rod is now complimented by a longer swingarm.

The new Street ROD is now suspended on USD front forks opposite to the conventional Telescopic fork tube setup. The rear set of shock absorbers are also new and now comes with longer travel assisted by gas charged canisters. The aluminum alloy wheels come standard with ABS along with 300mm disc brakes. Aesthetically also the new HD Street Rod has received multiple changes; the color scheme is tilted towards the dark custom approach. The newly designed seat of the Street ROD compliments the aggressive styling of the bike. New set of forged brake and gear lever are also a thoughtful addition along with wide single piece handlebar, which comes with classic bar end mirrors at the extreme. The new Harley Davidson Street Rod is available in three paint options: Vivid Black, Charcoal Denim, Olive Gold. Prices start at £6,745 for black bike and £6,995 for a coloured option. We hope to see the new addition of the HD in its Indian fleet soon.
