Harley Davidson India has finally launched the recently unveiled “Street ROD” in India. The bike was recently introduced in the international market and now passing on the all cost benefits related to this made in India motorcycle, the HD launched it in our country at a starting price tag of Rs. 5,86,000/- (Ex-Showroom).

The new Harley Davidson Street Rod comes as an entry level cruiser motorcycle in India, the bike is based on the existing “Street 750” and can be considered as a radical update. The new Street ROD is featured with a brand new 750cc V-Twin Evolution engine, the mill is tuned to produce augmented power and torque delivery owing to the high-lift cams, bigger air-box, bigger exhaust chamber and things like that.

Apart from the hardcore changes in the engine of the Street 750 the new Street Rod has also received aesthetic alterations. The new bike comes with custom dark paint scheme of Harley Davidson, for more aggressive stance there has been 17 inch alloy wheels plonked at both the ends. The chassis remains same with a new and longer swingarm. The new Harley Street Rod now also comes with bigger disc brakes and is equipped with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).

A flat long handlebar is also given to the new Street Rod for that perfect roadster look, classic bar end mirrors are thoughtful and the newly designed seat gels with the overall persona of the bike. The Street Rod comes equipped with Up-Side Down (USD) front suspension opposite to the telescopic front forks at the existing Street 750. However, the rear suspension remains dual shock absorbers but Harley has added gas charged canister for added comfort.
