Hero MotoCorp has launched a premium auto gear scooter- Maestro Edge. Hero has developed the Maestro Edge indigenously right from the chassis to the 110.9cc OHC engine. The premium class Maestro Edge will be known as “Dash” in other international markets like Columbia and Brazil. The good looking Hero Maestro Edge is loaded with many features like Remote fuel lid and seat opener, Boot light, Mobile charging USB port under the seat, Integrated Braking System (IBS) and Side Stand indicator. The 110.9cc indigenously developed 4-stroke single cylinder engine is capable of delivering 8.31 Bhp at 8000 Rpm and 8.30 Nm of Torque at 6500 Rpm. The company claimed fuel efficiency is 65.8 Kmpl under standard test ride conditions and the top speed of the scooter is 85 Kmph.
The new Hero Maestro Edge comes in seven different colors; Pearl Silver White, Matte Blue, Matte Vernier Grey, Techno Blue, Candy Blazing Red, Shooting Night Star and Panther Black. The Maestro Edge will be available in two variants; the Maestro Edge VX is priced at Rs 49,500 and the Maestro Edge LX is priced at Rs 50,700 both prices are Ex-Showroom, Delhi.
