  • Nov 20, 2020
  • |   Comments
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has launched the Repsol limited edition of Dio in India. The new variant has been priced at Rs 69,757 (Ex, showroom). The limited edition is priced at a premium of Rs 2,500 over its deluxe variant. The limited edition Dio comes featured with flaunting graphics inspired by Repsol Honda Racing team. The other prominent change comes with limited edition Honda Dio is orange colored alloy wheels.

Apart from the eye catchy graphics the Respol edition Honda Dio remains absolutely identical to the standard and deluxe versions of the scooter. Honda had launched the BS6 trim of the Dio earlier this year in February. The BS6 model of Dio was introduced with multiple changes over its BS4 counterpart. The design was reworked by the company and a sharper-looking headlamp was introduced with more angular front apron. There were other features also added to the BS6 variant of Dio including features like a silent starter, external fuel cap and DC LED headlamp. The instrument cluster at Honda Dio now shows additional information.

The new BS6 Honda now comes with a larger 12-inch wheel and telescopic forks upfront, whereas, the rear continues with a 10-inch unit with a single side monoshock. The scooter comes equipped with a 109.19 cc fuel-injected motor which is capable to churn out 7.65bhp of power at 8,000rpm and 9Nm of torque at 4,750rpm. It also gets a 5.3-litre fuel tank while the kerb weight of the scooter tips to the scale at 105kg.
