Honda Launches CB Hornet 160R

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) has officially launched the CB Hornet 160R which they had showcased on the 2015 Rev Fest along with updated CBR 150R/250R and CBR 650F earlier this year. Based on the concept CX-01, the CB Hornet 160R is expected to replace CB Trigger.

The CB Hornet 160R is bearing the name of one of the famous brand names of Honda across the world, the Hornet series is well known among the motorcycle enthusiasts all over the globe. The CB Hornet 160R is styled carrying the same naked persona of “Hornet” series bikes. The new Hornet 160 is featured with single headlight and muscular fuel tank along with telescopic front suspension and rear monoshock.

The Honda CB Hornet 160R is equipped with 163cc single cylinder air cooled engine which is already doing duty on the CB Unicorn 160. The engine is tuned to churn out 15.66 Bhp of power and 14.76 Nm of torque. The mill is mated to 5-speed gear transmission and it is also equipped with Honda Eco Technology (HET) for smooth operation and improved fuel economy. The CB Hornet 160R comes in five exciting colors-
  • Neo Orange Metallic
  • Pearl Amazing White
  • Sports Red
  • Pearl Siren Blue
  • Pearl Nightstar Black
The new Hornet 160R price starts at Rs 79900 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) onwards and it comes in two variants, the premium variant featured with rear disc brake and CBS.
