Kawasaki has revealed their updated 2017 versions of Ninja H2 and H2R along with a new ‘Carbon’ edition H2 at the ongoing Intermot motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany. Both the updated Ninja H2 and H2R come boasted with Kawasaki’s most advanced electronics package along with Öhlins TTX rear shock. The new lineup is now Euro4 emission complied, all thanks to the new Kawasaki exhaust system.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon received a “carbon-fibre” upper fairing that can also available as a retrofit accessory. The Ninja H2R and H2 Carbon also featured with a brand new Kawasaki’s ‘silver-mirror’ paint, which comes in matte finish. There are only 120 units of the Carbon edition Ninjas are to be made and each would be numbered individually.

The updated 2017 versions of Kawasaki Ninja H2 and H2R are now equipped with a six-axis inertial measurement unit to measure lean angle of the bike alongside forward and backward pitch to fine tune the intervention of the rider, which include Traction control and ABS. As per the company the result is good ‘Corner braking control’.

The updated Ninjas are now also featured with new up/down quick-shifter for more efficient gear shifts. For better aerodynamic performance the Brembo brake levers at the new Ninja lineup are now having new holes in them. The instrument console at the new Ninja H2 and H2R now includes a lean angle indicator and a maximum lean angle recording function.
