Recently we did the Test Ride Review of the hooligan Duke 390 and seriously we missed the Slipper Clutch in one of India's most fun to ride single cylinder bikes. The rumor about the Slipper Clutch to be installed in KTM bikes were all around the internet in recent days, until now when we got to know that KTM have installed the Slipper Clutch in Duke 390 made in 2015.However, the KTM has not uttered a single word on this, neither they have updated their website mentioning the important feature upgrade. But BikesIndia has confirmed this News from the KTM Dealer at the Capital, that KTM has actually put up the slipper clutch in the Duke 390 which were made in 2015. And the good News does't stop here, as per the source the pricing of the updated Duke would remain same and KTM is not going to charge any premium for this real premium feature. However, the pricing part is still to be confirmed by the KTM and we will let you know the same, when we receive any official statement from the company.
It is told that the updation is restricted to the Duke 390 only but as the faired sibling RC390 shares the majority of the hardware with naked Duke 390 it is expected to have Slipper Clutch on RC390 soon.
