The updated 2014 Yamaha FZ is seen sans camouflage indicating the launch soon. The bike has the same air cooled 153cc 4-stroke engine without any tweak but Yamaha has incorporated its newly developed Fuel Injection System to the mill. As Yamaha is vouching to produce fuel efficient motorcycles in India in recent days, this new Yamaha FZ with FI can be seen as a part of their strategy, as with the help of fuel injection the mileage of the bike is certainly going to be increased marginally if not by leaps and bounds.

However it is not clear from the picture that whether the new 2014 Yamaha FZ has the same 140mm rear tyre from the old Yamaha FZ or the company has reduced the size to 120mm. to ensure the better fuel efficiency.
It is going to be seen by us soon that how much costlier this Yamaha FZ will be with all these added features, however Yamaha India has to consider the upcoming competition in 150cc category cautiously before pricing the new Yamaha FZ as bikes like Suzuki Gixxer 150 is also around the corner.
